“We’re all busy these days, but I felt compelled to be sure to make the time to send you this note. I hope you’ll share it with others at BREMAC. As you know, I’m an Architect. My firm’s body of work is solely related to large commercial design. Having been in business now for 104 years, our firm has been responsible for many monumental buildings that you and everyone at BREMAC have visited. Three years ago this August, I purchased my current home in Mechanicsville. Prior to purchase, I had questions about HVAC systems (specifically installation of hot water coils serving the Central Boiler outdoor wood boiler) installed by the previous owner. My real estate agent recommended that I contact BREMAC for clarifications. I did and Everett showed up for the service call. He was both knowledgeable and went out of his way to be helpful. Just a nice guy! He confirmed my suspicions and recommended isolation valves for the coils. Near the end of summer last year, I noticed a drop-off in cooling capability of the unit serving the second floor of the house. I decided to wait until the spring to implement repairs for several reasons:
1) I didn’t need cooling capability during the winter, and
2) Because our firm doesn’t design residential work, I don’t know Contractors that serve the residential community. Frankly I was expecting to be a part of one of those AC replacement horror stories. We have enough problems with multi-million dollar systems in our commercial projects. I was preparing to gear up to be sure the replacement unit for my house was a quality unit and was properly installed. I met with and received proposals from several firms to replace the defective AC unit. You met with me and after review, I was very comfortable with the Bryant equipment that you were recommending. Again, another nice guy!

BREMAC was not the highest, nor the lowest priced proposal. However, the BREMAC proposal was a simple straight forward one page proposal that didn’t have a second page of exclusions and qualifications. After ample consideration, I decided to go with BREMAC. I cannot adequately describe how delighted I am with the completed work. Alan showed up at my house right on time. He and his helpers could not have been more courteous and careful. And, after just a few minutes in my home, I was comfortable heading off to work. The installation exceeded my expectations and the workmanship is excellent. Alan went out of his way to correct deficiencies created by others. Again, another nice guy!

These days it’s extremely difficult to find businesses that actually do what they say they’re going to do. Our firm is one of those businesses…BREMAC is also certainly on that short list. I’d be happy to serve as a reference for BREMAC.

“BREMAC installed a high-efficiency heat pump, high-efficiency air filtration system and a humidifier in our home. They completed the installation work quickly and left our house neat and clean (we really appreciate that). BREMAC previously had installed a whole-house dehumidifier in our home so now we are able to control humidity at a comfortable level all year long. My wife complains much less about dry skin during the winter and our furniture doesn’t have smelly and unhealthy mildew during the summer. We have noticed that smells in our house have decreased considerably. In particular, a few old carpet stains which used to emit odors smell quite a bit less now. We think that might be due to good humidity control as well as the high-efficiency air filtration system. The air filtration system also has reduced the dust level in our home. We have the option of running the air filtration system without operating the Heating or cooling unit. We are anxious to see if running it constantly during the Spring will remove pollens from the house air and reduce my allergy problems. Since our relatively inefficient heat pump was replaced with a high-efficiency heat pump and we have a comfortable humidity level, our Heating bills this winter have decreased significantly. Less dry skin, less mildew, less odor, less dust, lower monthly utility bills and possibly fewer allergy problems is sweeeet.”
