Community Service Projects Asthma Walk BREMAC, helping others in time of need. BREMAC played a small role in the community project known as Covenant Daughters. With the gracious help of donated heating/cooling equipment from our local Carrier distributor, the staff of BREMAC donated their time and expertise to install the HVAC equipment for this very worthy project. Covenant Daughters Ministry, Inc. provides a healthy Christian home environment for unwed, pregnant, teens in crisis. This home is designed to provide a family type setting, with house-parents and no more than eight girls in the residence at one time. House-parents are first of all mothers and fathers giving love, discipline, and nurturing to all the residents placed in their care. Being an unwed, pregnant teen facing an unplanned pregnancy can produce many challenges. Covenant Daughters wants to lend a helping hand toward one goal – offering the skills necessary for personal, emotional and spiritual growth while saving the life of her baby. The program provides an exciting and challenging opportunity for growth as the teen interacts with the staff, volunteers and other birthmothers. Services are available to the unwed, teenage birthmothers, their families and significant others, without regard to race, color, legal residence, economic status or religious affiliation. We wish to extend a most grateful THANK YOU to Carrier Corporation for their gracious support of this worthy project and THANK YOU to Diane Claiborne and Covenant Daughters for allowing us to share in this experience. Thank you. For more information on Covenant Daughters visit their web site at: http://www.mccag.org/in_crisis/covenant_daughters.html
